Dice, Coin Flip and Spin Wheels

Quick, fair tools for settling a choice or starting a game. Everything runs in your browser, with no signup.

Dice, coins and wheels all make a random choice, but each one suits a different moment. The right pick depends on how many options you have and whether you want to set them yourself.

Which tool should you choose?

  • Two options: use the Coin Flip for heads or tails, or the Yes or No Wheel when the question is easier to answer in those words.
  • A board game or a score: use the Dice Roller. It rolls up to 12 dice at once and adds up the total for you.
  • A number: use the Number Wheel when you need a raffle ticket or a place in line, with ranges up to 100.
  • Your own list: use the Random Name Picker to choose a student, a prize winner or whose turn it is. You can remove each winner so nobody gets picked twice.
  • A group with no ideas: start with the What to Eat Wheel, the Things to Do Wheel or the Truth or Dare Wheel, which come with options ready to spin.

How the results stay fair

Each tool chooses its result with your browser's secure random number generator before any animation starts. The spin or roll you see only shows that result, so a fast or slow click can't change the outcome.

Every option on a wheel has the same chance, and past results don't affect the next one. Getting heads five times in a row doesn't make tails any more likely on the next flip.

If you want one option to come up more often, add it to a wheel more than once. For a choice that really matters, agree on the rules before anyone spins.
